Tilden is a securities attorney, real estate investor, and sponsor, and he leads investment decisions at the firm. His legal practice is built around private offerings — how they are structured and where deals tend to come apart — and that work shapes how he reads a business plan.
Lion’s Share Capital is a private investment firm. We invest primarily in real estate and selectively in operating businesses, and we have invested across a range of real estate transactions.
We bring the perspective of owners to every investment decision. That means starting with the forces shaping demand — where people are moving, where jobs are being created, what customers need — and then testing whether the asset itself actually holds up. A growing market is the beginning of the analysis, not the end of it.
We are careful to separate what can be verified today from what depends on assumptions about tomorrow. If the business plan only works when everything goes right, it needs another look.
